  3. Philosophers in Their Historical Context: Friedrich Nietzsche

    The projects of philosophers do not occur in a historical and cultural vacuum, and understanding the situations they were living in illuminates their philosophical projects and works. This lecture series focuses on examining the historical contexts in which thinkers like Plato, Boethius, Thomas Hobbes, and Friedrich Nietzsche were writing in relation to their main ideas.
