Raptor ecologists face many conservation challenges. Environmental contamination, habitat loss, and climate change have the most dramatic effect on apex predators, making raptors strong indicators of overall ecosystem health. Live birds will provide unique opportunities to explore past and present issues in conservation and highlight conservation successes. Audience members will also learn how they can help conserve raptors in their everyday lives. Registration is required and can be done at the Children's Desk or by calling us at 262-242-2593 ext. 330.
